EARLY
SPRING INSECT SPRAY - (March
- April)
Horticultural or "dormant" oil is applied to certain trees
and shrubs in your landscape. This
treatment is designed to control insects which survive the winter.
They emerge from dormancy and feed on your trees and shrubs. This
is an important treatment for many ornamental plants such as pines,
purple leaf plums, euonymus, magnolias, crabapples, redbuds, etc. |

LATE
SUMMER INSECT AND DISEASE SPRAY - (August - September)
Continued heat and humidity stress your trees and shrubs. Insects
and disease are more likely to attack trees and shrubs weakened by
stress. You can help by watering stressed trees and shrubs during
dry periods. We'll treat for the damaging insects, disease and mites
that are a continued threat. It is important for trees to be healthy
as they enter the winter period. |
EARLY
SUMMER INSECT AND DISEASE SPRAY - (May - June)
During this period, your trees and shrubs will be treated for the
numerous damaging insects and diseases which are becoming more active.
"Broad spectrum" materials are used, meaning they are effective
against a wide variety of damaging pests.
MID
SUMMER INSECT AND DISEASE SPRAY - (July-August)
Increased heat and humidity stress your trees and shrubs and promote
additional insect and disease activity. Damaging spider mites (barely
visible with the naked eye) also become more active. Your landscape
is treated to maintain control of these damaging pests during this
vulnerable period. |

FALL
DEEP ROOT FERTILIZATION - (October - November)
One of the most important parts of a tree and shrub care program is
fertilization. Properly fertilized trees and shrubs are less susceptible
to damage by insects and disease. They
also produce better flowers, leaves and fruit, and live longer! The
fertilizer we use is specially formulated for your trees and shrubs.
We pressure inject it into your plants' root zone. We apply enough
material to last for the entire year. NOTE: Spring fertilization is
available for new customers whose trees and shrubs have not been fed
in recent years. This will help keep your landscape healthier through
the summer. It's available in March and April. |
