Frequently
Asked Questions
Just in case
you were wondering...
| WHAT IF I AM UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I AM RECEIVING? |
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, CALL
US! We strive to satisfy our customers and will work to resolve any problems
you have promptly and courteously.
| IT RAINED RIGHT AFTER YOU TREATED MY LAWN, WHAT
WILL HAPPEN? |
Rainfall within 12 hours of a treatment may dilute the
liquid weed control. If weeds don't appear to be dying after 10 to 12
days, call us. We will respray the remaining weeds at no additional cost.
Rainfall is very beneficial for the fertilizer portion of the treatment.
| HOW SOON CAN I MOW AND WATER AFTER A TREATMENT? |
Wait until the following day. If your lawn is accidentally
mowed or watered too soon, the effectiveness of the weed control may be
reduced. It weeds don't appear to be dying after 10 to 12 days, call us.
We will respray the remaining weeds at no additional cost. Mowing does
not effect the fertilizer portion, and watering is actually very beneficial,
even immediately following a treatment.
| WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS AFTER A TREATMENT? |
The amount of time it takes for a treatment to have a
visible effect on your lawn will vary with weather conditions and time
of year. However you should notice results within two weeks if the lawn
is being mowed and watered properly. If you don't notice results after
two weeks, call us!
| HOW HIGH SHOULD I MOW MY LAWN? HOW OFTEN? |
The higher the better! If you mow once a week, we recommend
2.5" to 3". This height is especially good during hot, dry weather, Mowing
high gives you better color, moisture retention and weed resistance. If
you'd like to mow lower, increase the frequency to 2 or 3 times per week.
The best rule of thumb is to remove no more than one-third of the existing
height of the turf grass plant.
| WHAT IS THE BEST METHOD FOR WATERING MY LAWN? |
Lawns require one inch of combined irrigation and rainfall
per week. If you notice any gray areas, and/or footprints remaining after
walking on the lawn, it's time to start irrigating. We recommend light
frequent waterings of 10 to 15 minutes per day. Increase by 5-minute increments
if dry spots develop.
